Microsoft is facing backlash after threatening legal action against security researcher “Nightmare Eclipse,” who disclosed unpatched flaws in Microsoft Defender and BitLocker along with exploit code. Fortune reports Microsoft is developing an AI “super app” combining GitHub Copilot, Copilot chat, Copilot Cowork, and a new agentic tool called Autopilot. A leaked screenshot cited by Alex Heath suggests an additional proactive AI agent, Scout, may be included. The app is reportedly led by Copilot chief Jacob Andreou and is designed to unify Microsoft’s fragmented Copilot products, with a potential launch in late summer.

Meta working on AI pendant and expanding smart glasses lineup

Dell surges after record AI server demand

Samsung and LG Uplus develop 6G sensing technology
Samsung and LG Uplus are jointly developing Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), which turns cell towers into environmental sensors by analyzing reflected wireless signals. The system could detect vehicles, drones, and people without dedicated radar hardware. Testing will begin on 5G networks before moving to the 7 GHz band, a key candidate for 6G, with commercial rollout expected in the early 2030s.
