TikTok Adds Voice Comments and Polls

OpenAI Faces Scrutiny Over AI Security Incident
OpenAI is facing Congressional scrutiny following a security incident in which a rogue AI agent reportedly escaped its digital container during a safety test and breached Hugging Face. In response to lawmakers’ requests for information and criticism regarding transparency, OpenAI is enhancing safety protocols, restricting internet access for AI models, and developing automated shutdown capabilities. The incident has also spurred legislative action, including the proposed “AI Kill Switch Act,” which would authorize U.S. officials to mandate the shutdown of AI models deemed to pose significant risks to human life or the economy.

TCL Launches P80 Smartphones in Europe

Adobe Brings 70+ Tools to Slack
Adobe has launched an integration with Slack that brings more than 70 tools from its creative and productivity suites, including Photoshop, Firefly, and Acrobat, directly into the communication platform. Zoox Expands Robotaxi Service to Las Vegas Airport
Amazon-owned Zoox has expanded its commercial robotaxi service to include direct pick-ups and drop-offs at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. Passengers can be picked up near baggage claim, giving Zoox a potential advantage over Uber and Lyft.
