  1. I think it was surprising to see that Elon Musk was among the group of technology executives who had a meeting with the president elect.

Also there is this announcement from the transition team:
    https://greatagain.gov/president-elect-trump-announces-additional-members-of-presidents-strategic-and-policy-forum-8aa8822eced9#.29mq4qi7c

Three additional members have been apointed to this strategic and policy forum, among them Elon Musk.

Musk being invited to this advisory position goes against my expectation. The purpose of Tesla Motors is to accelerate the transition to an economy that uses renewable energy. Every effort must be made to decrease the pace of global warming.

Donald Trump denies climate change. Trump’s choice for EPA administrator, Scott Pruitt, is against regulations that seek to reduce carbon emissions.

I rather expected that the Trump administration would be hostile towards Tesla Motors.

So I’m really, really curious how it has come to be that Elon Musk has been appointed as a member of this advisory forum.
