Claude Takes a First Step Toward Antivenom

Anthropic says a Claude-assisted research project produced 17 proteins that bound to individual scorpion toxins out of 211 lab-tested designs. The proteins haven’t been shown to neutralize venom in cells, so there’s no antivenom yet; the company is releasing the designs and test data.
