Android 17 Adds Encrypted Client Hello for More Private Browsing
Google has launched Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) support on Android 17, becoming the first major mobile OS to do so. Developed by Jigsaw, ECH encrypts destination website traffic to prevent ISPs from tracking user activity and domain names, effectively closing a significant privacy loophole. Google’s New Standards Target Android App Memory Problems
