So I am pretty much doom and gloom about HTC but there is one way I do see them gaining some level of profitability in a few years. It was mentioned that Samsung and Apple were early (I would say executed their strategy better) to the modern mobile market. HTC is currently very early to the VR market and the vive is receiving a lot of positive buzz. It is too early to bet the profitability of your company on VR and we don’t know how this market will play out in the next few years but hey its a possibility. If they could also focus on accessories, I mean the re camera was really not a bad device however it suffered the HTC curse and didn’t sell well.
