Hi!
Just wanted to comment the discussion on identity cards. In Sweden we get an identification number when we are born. It simplifies all kinds of interaction with the government, banks, health care, insurance companies and so forth. It also helps the state provide better services as they have a general way of identifying who’s who. For example our government provided health care system can find my medical history no matter what hospital I visit. Being able to place trust between people when making business increases as I have a better chance of knowing the identity of the person with whom I’m making business. With so much tech keeping track of me anyway, I feel system such as identity numbers and cards actually level the playing field.
