  1. Hi Tom,

    I emailed a few days ago talking about how, in my experience, Amazon still practices targeted pricing. On the back of having my email read on DTNS, I heard from Amazon. The explanation I received from them sounds plausible to me. Product prices can vary from country to country; when I go to Amazon.com with my browser in incognito mode, I am presented, by default, with the US price. However, when I log in and it becomes obvious that I am in the UK, I am then presented with the price for my region, which may be higher.

    Anthony from Amazon promised to carry out further investigations. He might be contacting you with his findings. Either way, I’m impressed with the openness and service he provided on behalf of his employers.
