No I don’t believe this is a good idea. Movie theaters are for watching movies. Not texting.
May open the flood gates for others to think they can do it in other theaters, etc.
No chance. This is a TERRIBLE idea.
What if the special showing for people using phones ended up keeping them out of your showing where it wasn’t allowed?
Yes, thank you Tom! That’s my thoughts on this exactly. I wish every theatre would do this so they’d all go to that one instead of disrupting mine. GREAT idea. Sorry to see they backed down already.
What if they retro fit theaters with high back, wing back type seats that completely blocks your view of the person in front of you, without blocking the screen.
