  1. Regarding a home network scanner that is easy to use, I use Fing to scan my wifi. It is a mobile app and will show you what is on your network and what news devices have appeared since your last scan. https://www.fing.io

    They also have an indigogo campaign for a stand alone hardware device that will constantly scan your network and offers a bunch of features such as notifications and parental controls.

While the periscope zoom is new to phone cameras, they were used in digital cameras years ago (fujifinepix and olympus I think), when the super thin – credit card- size point and shoot was popular. Google periscope zoom point and shoot and you will see. so I am sure Opo is or will be licensing this technology.
