Tom, what town were you living in with an IGA? I’ve lived in 2. Holton, KS (out of business these days), and Silver Lake, KS (changed to Thriftway many years ago). I still live in Silver Lake & plan to retire here in my old house. (Maybe Bob Villa or Norm will come to my rescue)
I wish I could be in your chat room when you are recording, but I’m either at work, or twice a week I’m getting ready for work. I am having a great time hearing about your food adventures with everyone.
Hope your newest puppy dog is doing good. Thanks for being you and doing what you’re doing.
Oh I’ve been in several towns with IGA. Growing up in Greenville, IL is the one I mentioned on the show. That was a Capri IGA. The one in Urbana, IL where I went to college was a Jerry’s IGA> There was even one across from the hotel I stayed at in Sydney, Australia!
Tom
They were all over in Northern Michigan too. I still associate IGA with going on vacation “up north”. But I totally missed where it came up on this show – where was it?
