Please reserve me a bunk on the Jury train. It sounds right up my alley. Fun show for me!
in addition to the current judgment against Apple, WARF has also submitted a claim against Apple for the new A9 chips, basically every current device sold by Apple (mobile) is covered by the 2 suits, one yet to be tried and the one you discussed. WARF isn’t afraid of battling it out with Apple, as this is their sole responsibility, that of maintaining the Universities patents and protecting those intellectual properties. I would not be surprised to see Apple appeal and lose again. If both cases go against Apple it could be near 2 billion judgment against them.
