    I have to rant a bit at your dismissal of freight forwarders.

    People in Alaska use freight forwarders for merchants who don’t ship here or insist on charging extremely high shipping rates. It is amazing to me the number of merchants who either don’t know Alaska and Hawaii are part of the United States, or don’t know that USPS Priority flat rate shipping is the same cost as to the rest of the country.
