  1. Thank you everyone for the suggestions for coding software and other resources. We decided Scratch Jr. was a great introduction, and she is already creating characters and story lines with it. The puzzle block symbols is a very easy to understand linking the actions together for her characters. Her current favorite is the voice recorder blocks.

    A co-worker also suggested Code.org as another resource.

    I downloaded Unity, and will work on exploring it, so when she wants to take game design to the next level, I will have some familiarity with the subject matter, and can give guidance.
